Collins College
Collins College is committed to the technical training development and preparation necessary for graduates to succeed in the areas of Visual Communication, Animation (such as 2-D and 3-D animation), Personal Computer/ Network Technology, Media Arts, and Game Design.
Collins College lays the foundation for a successful education experience with industry-current equipment, and experienced and dedicated staff, and a curriculum that is continually reviewed by an active Advisory Committee.
The college population averages approximately 2000 students, between morning, afternoon and evening sessions. Every attempt is made to keep class size to a ratio of one (1) teacher per 25 to 35 students. The maximum number of students in any classroom or laboratory is 45. Student assistants are utilized to facilitate individual attention in larger classes.
Collins College utilizes hardware and software that is specifically selected based on industry standards. For each program and each class that requires the use of a computer, the students work at industry-current computer workstations. All hardware and software are, for this reason, subject to change.
